The Byron Bay Regional Sports and Cultural Centre is located on the eastern coast of Northern New South Wales, in the much loved town of Byron Bay.
The facility combines a mix use venue to cater for both the sporting and cultural events required by a growing local community.
The Centre is a part of a much larger sporting precinct, being surrounded by a sea of outdoor sporting fields and ball court facilities. With the outdoor sports use having direct access to the BBRSCC facilities and administration requirements. The building combines both conditioned and naturally ventilated areas, water saving fixtures and fittings, smart lighting and motion controlled technologies.
The BBRSCC has the following facilities:
2x Basketball, Netball, Volleyball sized courts with a sprung timber sports floor.
Stage area with sports equipments and storage rooms.
Activities room with a sprung sports floor.
Multi-purpose events function room.
Commercial kitchen and canteen with internal / external access.
Large reception and events foyer space.
4x change rooms and amenities with internal / external access.
2x or one singular meeting room with moveable partition system.
Administration office with attached drop in centre / mixed use open space area.
