Multi Span Australia have successfully completed another landmark asset for the Moreton Bar Regional Council and people of Moreton Bay.
The AFL Sporting facility boasts all the needs of a successful club including:- clubroom, licensed viewing platforms, bar facilities, full commercial kitchen, offices and player change rooms and amenities.
All change rooms have the flexibility to be modified to suit the numbers and age groups playing. Senior facilities include massage rooms, first aid, third umpire room and separate umpire’s changerooms.
The use of Ritek roofing panel, high level security / ventilation screens and passive lighting shafts ensure an energy efficient climate controlled environment. Intelligently located multifold doors and electrically operated louvers allow the clubroom to be adjusted to suit all climatic conditions. DALI lighting systems throughout allow the user to control all lighting within the facility and the fields at the touch of a central controller. Aquatrip leak detection devices enable the facility to mitigate anypotential water loss from vandalism or other means.
A warm water recirculating water system utilising the rheem guardian and gas hot water system ensures no player runs out of hot water, nomatter how late to the showers. Toilet cisterns are concealed to help minimise vandalism. All finishes have been selected for their hard wearing capabilities.
The result is a successful, attractive, functional space for the Caboolture Lions and a great asset for the growth of AFL and the growth ofthe Moreton Bay Region.
AFL CEO Andrew Demetriou has praised the facility and Moreton Bay Regional Council and rewarded the region with a 2014 pre-season match hosting the Brisbane Lions and Sydney Swans football clubs.
The new AFL clubhouse will now be the permanent home of the Caboolture Lions AFC and AFLQ.
