The Mitchell Aquatic Centre

The Mitchell Aquatic facility located in the township of Mitchell in rural Queensland, also known as the gateway to the Outback.

The overall facility Master Plan and stage 1 redevelopment was to maximise and to create an identity of each individual activity in which the town hall, Great Artisan Spa and memorial swimming pools centre delivers to the local community and to the travelling tourist trade.

The stage 1 works involved the aquatic development of a 25m 6 lane competition swimming and program pool, a zero depth children’s water play area, the refurbishment of the existing entry administration and amenities building and facility service upgrades.

Greg Cruickshank Aquatic Centre (GCAC)

The Greg Cruickshank Aquatic Centre (GCAC) is located in Moranbah, a mining town in Queensland.  Moranbah is on the Peak Downs Highway between Mackay and Clermont, in the ISAAC Region.

The aquatic facility delivers the Moranbah and wider community with an outdoor recreational hub. A location for public social interaction of all ages, leisure and educational programmes, injury rehabilitation, aquatic recreation and sporting development.
