Located in the Wacol industrial precinct, Southern Steel's facility comprises 18,000m² of warehouse and accommodates approximately 5000+ tonnes of raw steel, such as steel plate and rolles steel product.

To facilitate loading and unloading, nine overhead gantry cranes with lifting capacities of 10 tonne each, travel the full length of the building.

Attached to the warehouse, the two storey administrative offices occupy 780m².

Completed in two stages the unique project brief involved the design development and construction of 4,800m² warehouse, 6,300m² production facility and 700m² of office area. 

The facility houses the national sales and administration head quarters for the company with the warehouse being a purpose built production plant for the manufacturing and distribution for their carpet line.
