Multi Span Australia was engaged by Word in the development and procurement of their Brisbane based north store. The project is located on a corner site that enables good retail exposure, pedestrian access and integration with the existing streetscape. The building incorporates a single retail floor space and basement car park, with adjoining staff and meeting rooms. The main project features are the shop front display areas, cafe and children's play gym. 

The Big Gun Shopping Centre is situated in Underwood on Brisbane's southside, the redevelopment aimed to increase retail services for the surrounding district through creating a strip shopping centre. The centre contains mixed use retail shops with the design consisting of light weight steel and metal shop awnings and covered public areas, roof top car park and viewing platform incorporating the original iconic Big Gun war relic.
